Good evening, everyone. I welcome you all to our buildup team meeting, whichGood evening, everyone. I welcome you all to our buildup team meeting, which
will help us understand certain things about the ministry and what we are
involved in. If you attended yesterday's cell, I think our cell leaders explained to us
how we sometimes see believers being in the church for the sake of what they
need from God, rather than for what God wants for them.
Before I continue, let us pray:
Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus, Your victory and Your success are upon us.
Your goodness is ours. You open our eyes to see. And Lord, You have called us to
this ministry that we may hold this ministry and push it so that many may be
saved in this world through us, and that they may see Your kingdom. Lord, open
the eyes of everyone joining in. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
Today, I want to share something that many of us may not understand—what we
wrestle against and why we ought to do certain things. When we talk about
prayer, many people just pray because they want their miracle to happen. But
there are so many things that we must come to understand.
Now, in Genesis 6, the Bible tells us that the offspring of angels did extraordinary
things on the earth. They built cities and were giants. As they died, because their
spirits were not human, these spirits became known as demons. Now, you have to
understand, there are demons and there are fallen angels. I want to share with
you in 10-30 minutes where demons come from. Demons are the offspring of the
union of humans and angels. The offspring that were born out of them are called
demons because they had a human body but not a human spirit, so they had to
start roaming around.
They would neither go to hell nor heaven because there was no place created for
them. When they went to hell, they would punish those that were there because
the legal condemnation was not yet given to them. I hope you are learning
something, and I'm taking you deeper to understand certain things today, so that
you may understand why we must take everything seriously. Glory, hallelujah.
